The Greater Victoria Chamber of Commerce is the “Voice of Business in Greater Victoria” The Chamber advocates for businesses and provides services tailored to the needs of small business.
Our service is divided into three broad categories: networking, programs, and advocacy
Networking – The bringing together of the business community to discuss issues of mutual interest is key to the success of any business community. The Chamber provides a number of opportunities to meet community leaders and create the network any business person needs to be successful.
Programs – Every business needs to take advantage of programs to maximize its profitability. Programs designed to meet the needs of small business are offered by the chamber to its members. These benefits include:
Advocacy – If you pay taxes and make payroll deductions you need to support the advocacy efforts of the chamber. The Victoria Chamber has saved businesses thousands of dollars annually by ensuring property tax increases are limited, Income Tax Act changes are favourable to business and business conditions are improved.
