About Emerge

Emerge is a group of people who are passionate about fostering authentic connections. The Emerge Committee runs bi-monthly networking events, as well as a mentorship program, where all Chamber members are welcome. Future members are encouraged to join Emerge events to make connections and experience what membership means.

Emerge Connector Events – Be a Host

As an Event Host Sponsor you have the opportunity to showcase your business, product, service, and/or space to a wide range of people looking to make local connections both professionally and personally. Emerge Events provide a relaxed and friendly atmosphere for meeting and connecting. Chamber staff work with you to maximize exposure through our active social media channels, The Chamber website, and event newsletter.

Emerge Mentorship Program

Whether you’re looking for strategic advice or have hard-earned knowledge to share, this program is a great way to get more involved with Emerge, with The Chamber, and with your business community.

Thank you for your interest in the Emerge Mentorship Program. Applications to participate in the 2025 cohort have now closed. If you would like to express interest in participating in 2026, please email emerge@victoriachamber.ca with your interest. Please note the opportunity to participate in the Emerge Mentorship program is exclusive to Chamber Members. Emerge Community Engagement

The Emerge Community Engagement team aims to create authentic connections between Chamber members and the broader community through various initiatives like promoting the valuable work of the Chamber’s non-profit members and connecting members with local short and long-term volunteer opportunities. We believe in the power of community and communication and the impact we can make together.

Non-Profit Member Job Board Offer

We are pleased to help not-for-profit member organizations promote their upcoming volunteer opportunities with our vast network via the Chamber Job Board . Not-for-profit members can post up to 3 complimentary job board postings per year to highlight upcoming short-term and long-term volunteer opportunities. The Chamber has a vast network of business people looking to engage and give back to the community in a variety of roles including on Boards or committees, for program support, and for event positions.
