Join The Chamber in celebrating Pride June 23-July 2!
Pride Week is the perfect opportunity to celebrate the 2SLGBTQIA+ communities, and there are many great ways to show your support throughout the week. From the Big Gay Dog Walk to the highly anticipated Pride Parade, check out engaging events, performances and exhibits from across the region.
- Attend Canada’s largest Pride literary event, Pride in the Word, at the Victoria Conference Centre July 2. The event features book and poetry readings from six writers.
- Enjoy a Drag Brunch at Friends of Dorothy Lounge and attend the Pride Kickoff Show this Friday.
- Visit the Maritime Museum of BC’s newest exhibit, which highlights queer, trans, and two-spirited communities within maritime history and culture.
- Check out KWENCH’s famous Wham Glam Drag Shabam this Friday, giving attendees the chance to see performances from Woofie, Vivian Vanderpuss, and Eddi Licious.
- Show your spirit by picking up a Pride Flag at The Flag Shop.
