Connections Place Society Victoria is inviting the community to take part in an international day of giving that supports mental health and community connection.
On May 1, Clubhouse Giving Day brings together supporters from around the world to champion Clubhouse organizations — community-based spaces dedicated to helping people living with mental illness build meaningful, connected lives through work, relationships, and purpose.
Here in Greater Victoria, the Connections Place Clubhouse provides a safe and supportive environment where members can regain confidence, develop skills, and re-engage with their community. Through a range of programs, including employment support, social opportunities, and daily activities, the Clubhouse model empowers individuals on their path to recovery.
Contributions made on Giving Day directly support these local programs, helping to expand opportunities for members and strengthen the sense of connection that is at the heart of the Clubhouse community.
Community members can also support Connections Place year-round through donations on their website, helping to shine a light on mental health, strengthen community wellbeing, and support a local organization that is changing lives every day.
