Victoria Native Friendship Centre 

The Victoria Native Friendship Centre (VNFC) is a non-profit Indigenous-led organization located on Southern Vancouver Island. Since 1969, the VNFC has been mandated to encourage and promote the well-being of urban Indigenous people by strengthening individuals, families, and community. The Centre is a vital resource for urban Indigenous people, providing a sense of wellness and belonging. A dedicated staff of 190 people provide 75+ unique programs and services to the 20,000 urban Indigenous people in the Capital Regional District (CRD), as well as supporting 4,500 on-reserve citizens in the 10 local Nations. The VNFC actively fosters community connections and partnerships, providing inclusive programming, events, and initiatives to create better understanding and connection between Indigenous and non-Indigenous community.

2025 Awards Ceremony

Join us for an evening of celebration at the 2025 Business Awards Ceremony. The event provides an opportunity to learn more about the fantastic businesses contributing to the vibrancy of our community and celebrate the finalists for their achievements.  The evening includes a general reception for all guests with light hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar, the awards ceremony taking place in the Victoria Conference Centre Theatre, and a post-ceremony celebration where we can congratulate and network with all of the finalists and award recipients.  This will be a spectacular night of networking, entertainment and celebration honouring our finalists and all Chamber members efforts towards building good business and great community for all.  Check out the photos from the 2024 Ceremony
