The Royal BC Museum is inviting visitors to explore the beliefs, rituals and artistry of one of the world’s most fascinating civilizations through Ancient Egypt: Obsessed with Life.

This immersive exhibition takes guests on a journey through ancient Egyptian concepts of death, rebirth and the afterlife. Visitors can experience intimate, atmospheric spaces featuring evocative lighting, sound and scent installations designed to bring ancient traditions to life.
The exhibition showcases striking embellished coffins, jewelry, grave goods and everyday objects that were carefully prepared to accompany individuals into eternity. Through these artifacts and immersive displays, visitors will gain insight into Egypt’s deep reverence for life and the enduring legacy of its culture.
