Women in Leadership Foundation, Victoria Chapter, will host AI in Action: A Discussion Table for Women Leaders & Service Providers on Thursday, November 12, 2026, from 1:00 to 4:30 PM at KPMG Victoria. The afternoon is built for women who want to use AI in their work but are not sure where to start. Every attendee is meant to leave able to name one specific task in her own work she will point AI at, and roughly how to begin.
Some women are leading a business or scaling one. Some are the business. For most of them, the real question about AI is rarely “should I?” It’s “where do I actually start?” AI in Action is designed around that question, not around the technology.
The event is for women entrepreneurs, small business owners, consultants, and leaders inside government and larger organizations, including women who are thinking about starting a business. No technical background is needed. This is not a tech conference and not a sales pitch.
The afternoon opens with two short talks. Caroline Wakefield of The Generous AI Society presents “Beyond the AI Brainstorm: The Realm of the Possible for Women Leaders.” Rachel Krayenhoff, AI Educator & Consultant, follows with a short, practical walkthrough of how to set up a first automation.
The rest of the afternoon happens at small discussion tables. Anu Jolliffe, Director of Community Relations for the Victoria Data Society, joins the event to guide the table conversations. He brings more than 30 years of bridging business and technology, and a focus on helping organizations adopt AI where it makes a real difference. Attendees rotate between two of three topics: “What’s my expertise worth now?”, “Can I trust what it tells me?” and “The work around the work.”
Seating is limited. Tickets are $45, or $25 for Greater Victoria Chamber of Commerce members. KPMG Victoria is sponsoring the venue and catering at 730 View Street, Suite 800.
