How can I become a member?

• You can book a meeting with our Membership Manager to go through all the benefits of membership or if you’re ready you can join online here.

What are the benefits of being a Chamber member?

• There are many benefits of being a Chamber member through the connections you can make, exposure your business will receive, the advocacy work that we do and the savings through our discount program.

How much does Chamber membership cost?

• Annual rates are calculated by employee size. Email membership@victoriachamber.ca for further information.

Are there non-profit rates?

• We do not offer non-profit rates. As a non-profit ourselves, we know we work equally hard for all of our members and their team. Email membership@victoriachamber.ca for additional information.

Events and Networking

What events does the Chamber organize?

• The Chamber organizes a wide variety of events from Business Mixers, Business Leaders Events, Member Breakfasts, a Marketplace Mixer, our annual Business Awards and so much more.

How can I participate in Chamber networking events?

• We would love to have you join us at an upcoming event. Contact membership@victoriachamber.ca for further details on how to attend an upcoming event.

Are events open to non-members?

• Our Business Mixers are for members only, but non-members are encouraged to register for one event to explore if membership is a good fit for them. Business Leaders Events and some of our other paid events offer member and non-member pricing.

Business Services

Do you provide letters of support?

• Yes, we can provide letters of support for our members. Please contact communications@victoriachamber.ca for more information or with your request. For more about this policy, Greater Victoria Chamber’s Policy on Letters of Support.
• We also provide Certificates of Origin for your products being shipped internationally or a member of your team that might be travelling for business purposes. More about Certificates of Origin can be found here.

What marketing opportunities are available for Chamber members?

• Members receive exposure through our website, social media and newsletter efforts. In addition, members can post to our Community Calendar and Job Board to promote their business in addition to other advertising opportunities. Contact membership@victoriachamber.ca for further information.

Are there discounts for members on services and products?

• Members are encouraged to promote what they specialize in by offering discounts on their goods and services through Member to Member offers.

How can my business advertise with the Chamber?

• Members receive exposure through our member directory, social media and targeted – audience weekly newsletter as well as other advertising opportunities. Contact membership@victoriachamber.ca for further information.

What sponsorship opportunities are available for Chamber events?

• Many of our Chamber events include sponsorship opportunities for our members. Contact membership@victoriachamber.ca for more details.

Do I have to be a member to advertise?

• If you’re not ready to join as a member, we are happy to offer non-member rates on advertising.
