From now until October 4, The Art Gallery of Greater Victoria presents their new exhibit: As waters merge – swaying waves beckoning us closer.
This exhibit brings together contemporary art and poetry to explore joy, pleasure, and connection across ecosystems at the edges of the Pacific Ocean. Featuring works that visualize moments of gathering, leisure, love, and collective celebration, the exhibition invites visitors to consider how communities create and sustain spaces that prioritize shared joy and hopeful futures.
Through diverse artistic perspectives, the exhibition examines the relationships between people, place, and the natural world, highlighting the unique elements that shape sites of connection and belonging throughout the Pacific region.
